NDS captures 8 militants in Kabul

KABUL -- National Directorate of Security (NDS) special forces arrested 8 militants in an operation in Kabul, BBC Persian reported Wednesday (November 14), citing a statement by the NDS.

Five Taliban fighters and three foreigners affiliated with "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) were among those arrested, said the statement, without saying when the operation occurred.

The detainees planned to carry out terrorist attacks in Kabul, according to NDS officials.
