MAZAR-E-SHARIF -- Afghan forces killed at least 55 Taliban militants and wounded 15 others in Kunduz Province, the 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan National Army said in a statement Wednesday (November 28).
The operation took place November 20-24 in Dasht-i-Archi District, the statement said.
Afghan troops destroyed 60 militant hideouts and four large explosive caches during the operation, said the statement.
The Taliban did not immediately comment.
