Joint operation kills 13 Taliban in Kapisa

LAGHMAN -- Afghan forces killed at least 13 Taliban militants in the past 24 hours during an operation in Tagab District, Kapisa Province, the 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan National Army (ANA) said in a statement Monday (December 3).

The ANA, Afghan National Police and Local Police, the Public Order Police and National Directorate of Security (NDS) conducted joint operations in Badrab village, said the statement.

Troops defused 19 types of land mines during the operation, officials said.
