MAZAR-E-SHARIF -- Afghan commandos killed at least four Taliban militants in an operation in Faryab Province, the 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan National Army said in a statement on Friday (June 21).
The operation occurred Thursday (June 20) night in Garziwan District, the army said.
No civilians or Afghan troops were harmed, it added.
