KANDAHAR -- A roadside bomb killed at least nine civilians and wounded 18 others in Kandahar Province, TOLOnews reported, citing the provincial governor.
The explosion struck a passenger minibus in the Darzab area of Khakrez District Monday (July 15), according to Kandahar Governor Hayatullah Hayat.
He blamed the explosion on the Taliban.
Women were among the victims, according to eyewitnesses.
The Taliban did not immediately comment.
