KABUL -- The death toll of a November 16 suicide bombing in Kabul has reached six, officials confirmed.
The bombing killed five civilians and an army colonel. A suicide bomber targeted a vehicle carrying security personnel.
Five civilians and five troops were wounded. The "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) claimed responsibility, TOLO News reported.
Pakistan issued a strong denunciation of the bombing.
"We strongly condemn the terrorist attack," Pakistani Foreign Office spokesman Nafees Zakaria said, according to a November 17 Khaama Press report. "We offer our condolences to the Afghan government and people."
