Afghanistan, Uzbekistan ink 5 co-operation deals

KABUL -- Afghanistan and Uzbekistan have agreed to step up co-operation in security matters, TOLO News reported Tuesday (January 24).

Acting Afghan Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani and Uzbekistani Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov signed five pacts on co-operation in fighting narcotics and other security matters.

They also discussed expansion of various forms of economic and humanitarian co-operation.
