KABUL -- Militants freed five kidnapped road construction engineers in Logar province after negotiations with tribal elders, Mohammad Agha District governor Mohammad Nasir Amin confirmed Wednesday (March 1), according to Afghanistan Times.
The engineers were kidnapped in the district February 24.
They had been building the Pul Kandahar-to-Surkhab road, said Amin.
