Pakistani, Afghan tribal elders vow to fight cross-border terrorism

GARDEZ, Afghanistan -- Tribal elders from Pakistan and Afghanistan have reaffirmed their commitment to jointly working to attain peace and stability, Geo News reported Monday (April 24).

Elders from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Pakistan, and Paktia, Afghanistan, held a joint jirga (council) in Dand Patan, Afghanistan, Sunday (April 23).

Terrorists should never receive assistance, said participants from Paktia.
