GHAZNI -- About two dozen militants were killed in Ghazni Province, Pajhwok Afghan News reported.
A Taliban vehicle exploded in the Woot area Thursday (May 4), killing 16 militants, said provincial police, adding that the dead included a Pakistani commander. The perpetrators of the bombing were not identified.
The Afghan National Army, though, gave the Taliban death toll as 18.
Troops carrying out a security operation in Waghez District killed seven more Taliban Thursday, said provincial police.
