KUNDUZ -- Afghan troops pushed militants almost 2km out of Kunduz city Wednesday (May 10), on the seventh day of their battle with the Taliban, TOLO News reported.
However, the soldiers were unable to reopen the Kunduz-to-Takhar highway.
The troops need reinforcements, Jan Aqa, a commander of the National Civil Order Police, told TOLO News.
