NANGARHAR -- A group of insurgents attacked a mosque in Nangarhar Province Wednesday (July 5), killing three Afghans, Khaama Press reported.
Militants took three hostages during their attack on a mosque in Haji Abad village, according to the Afghan National Army.
Meanwhile, hundreds of "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) insurgents, who were trained by foreign fighters, have emerged in Kunar Province, warned provincial police chief Maj. Gen. Jumma Gul Himmat, according to Pajhwok Afghan News.
