KABUL -- The Taliban are suffering casualties at the hands of both Afghan troops and the "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS), Khaama Press reported Sunday (August 6).
Troops in Momand Dara District, Nangarhar Province, drove back a Taliban attack, inflicting heavy casualties. The dead militants included a Taliban shadow district governor, said the Nangarhar government.
In the Shorkan area of Ghor Province, ISIS killed four Taliban militants after the two groups turned their guns on each other last week, said ISIS, according to Khaama Press. The Taliban have not commented on the report.
