MAHMOOD RAQI -- Afghan troops prevented a major loss of life Monday (August 7) by shooting two would-be suicide bombers in Tagab District, Kapisa Province, Pajhwok Afghan News reported Tuesday (August 8), quoting a military statement.
The would-be bombers were riding a motorcycle when troops shot them, said the statement.
The terrorists' target reportedly was a group of local police officers.
