KABUL -- Unidentified gunmen Sunday (August 13) assassinated the Herat Province traffic police chief 5km east of Herat city, Khaama Press reported Monday (August 14).
Motorcyclists gunned down Gen. Ghulam Dastagir and his guard, Herat police confirmed.
