GHAZNI -- At least 12 Taliban militants were killed and three others, including a shadow district governor, were arrested in Ghazni Province, TOLO News reported Monday (August 21).
Troops captured the Taliban shadow governor for Zankhan District and two other militants in Zankhan Monday, said provincial police.
Twelve Taliban militants, including four Pakistani nationals, were killed in fighting in Ghazni city and in Deh Yak and Zankhan districts, added police. Four troops were killed.
