NANGARHAR -- A bomb blast inside a mosque in Nangarhar Province has killed the imam and wounded eight others, Pajhwok Afghan News reported Friday (December 8).
The incident took place during Friday prayers in Sultankhel village in the Hazar-Naw area of Momand Dara District, said district governor Mohammad Nasim.
The imam was identified as Maulvi Nimatullah.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
