BAGHLAN -- Afghan security forces regained control of Tala Wa Barfak District in Baghlan Province, the Defence Ministry said in a statement on Friday (May 18).
The Taliban overran the district May 8.
Security forces have also cleared land mines and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) planted by the militants in the district, according to the statement.
