Roadside bomb kills 2 boys in Faryab

PAKTIA -- A roadside bomb killed at least two boys and wounded two other Afghans in Almar District, Faryab Province, the Interior Ministry said in a statement Wednesday (October 10).

The incident occurred Tuesday (October 9), said the statement.

Separately, a roadside bomb exploded prematurely, killing two militants Tuesday in Zurmat District, Paktia Province, the statement added.

Also, at least five Taliban militants were killed by their own bomb, which they were planting on the roadside in Pusht Rod District, Farah Province, Khaama Press reported Tuesday, citing an Interior Ministry statement without providing further details.
