MAZAR-E-SHARIF -- Afghan forces Tuesday (February 12) killed at least seven Taliban militants during two separate clashes in Faryab Province, the 209th Shaheen Corps of the Afghan National Army said in a statement.
Four Taliban members were killed and three seriously wounded in the first incident in Dawlatabad District, said the statement.
Separately, troops killed three Taliban fighters and wounded another during a clash in the Arklick area of Qaisar District, the statement added.
The Taliban did not immediately comment.
