KABUL -- The General Command of Police Special Units in an overnight operation in Helmand Province killed at least seven militants responsible for planning suicide bombings, the Interior Ministry said in a statement Monday (April 1).
The operation took place in Shoraki village of Nahr-e-Saraj District, said the statement, without providing details on when it occurred.
Police seized an explosives-laden vehicle and various rifles, it added.
Police suffered no casualties.
