GARDEZ -- Afghan forces killed at least 11 Taliban militants in an operation in Logar Province, the 203rd Thunder Corps of the Afghan National Army (ANA) said in a statement Thursday (August 15).
The operation saw the destruction of two weapon depots and their contents, including 40 improvised explosive devices (IEDs), the statement said.
Separately, Afghan air strikes targeted Taliban militants in Qarabagh District, Ghazni Province, killing two militants, said the same statement.
Officials did not say when these incidents took place.
The Taliban did not immediately comment.
