JALALABAD -- Afghan troops killed at least 34 militants including six members of the "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL), officials said Wednesday (January 18), according to media.
Troops killed the ISIL members in Haska Mina District, Nangarhar Province, provincial spokesman Lt. Col. Hazrat Hussain Mashriqiwal told Pajhwok Afghan News.
However, Khaama Press reported the site of the battle as Deh Bala District.
Troops killed at least 28 more insurgents in various other provinces, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said in a statement Wednesday (January 18), Khaama Press reported.
