HELMAND, Afghanistan -- Afghan security forces killed at least six militants and destroyed six heroin labs in Helmand Province, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said Sunday (January 29), Khaama Press reported.
Afghan anti-drug police Saturday (January 28) raided the labs in Bando village, the MoI said.
The police destroyed almost 1.1 tonne of morphine, almost 15.2 tonnes of ammonium chloride, and 2,000 litres of liquid opium.
