SAMANGAN -- National Directorate of Security (NDS) operatives thwarted a terror plot by arresting four Taliban suspects in Samangan Province, Khaama Press reported Thursday (September 21).
The NDS nabbed the suspects, including a would-be suicide bomber, in Aibak, said the NDS.
NDS personnel in Kapisa Province arrested a suspect accused of involvement in the slaying of the province's Ulema Council chairman, Khaama Press reported Wednesday (September 20).
Mawlawi Gul Mohammad Hanifyar was killed on the Taliban's orders earlier in September, confessed the suspect, according to the NDS.
