HELMAND -- At least 11 Taliban militants have been killed in air and artillery strikes conducted by Afghan forces in Helmand Province, Khaama Press reported Friday (November 3).
Afghan National Army artillery units shelled the Taliban in Gereshk District, killing at least six militants, said the provincial government media office in a statement.
The Afghan air force conducted several air strikes in Lashkargah and Nad-e-Ali districts and in Spin Jumat, Gereshk District, killing at least five Taliban militants.
The Taliban have not commented.
