KABUL -- The Afghan government has no plans to kick-start negotiations with the Taliban, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) reported July 14, quoting President Ashraf Ghani's office.
A four-nation group in charge of trying to start those talks is not planning to convene, Ghani spokesman Haroon Chakhansuri said July 14.
The group has met five times in 2016, but the Taliban skipped all five sessions.
