KABUL -- At least 114 militants, one civilian and four Afghan soldiers were killed in recent violence nationwide, officials said.
Troops killed at least 112 militants in six provinces in a 24-hour span, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said September 12, according to Khaama Press.
Four Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers were killed, the MoD added.
Meanwhile, two gunmen September 12 stormed the Mirwais Hospital in Kandahar and opened fire, TOLO News reported, quoting police.
Both gunmen and a civilian were killed, officials said.
