KABUL --About 1m Afghan refugees will come home this year, President Ashraf Ghani told parliament September 27, TOLO News reported.
About 6,500 Afghans depart Pakistan and Iran daily with the support of the Afghan government, he said.
Afghan migrants are also returning from Europe, he added.
The government has assigned a team to co-operate with EU officials to help Afghan refugees under various international laws, Ghani said.
