KABUL -- Militants kidnapped two doctors in Badghis Province and killed an abducted construction worker in Nimroz Province, officials said.
The Taliban kidnapped the doctors while they were travelling to Qads District and moved them to an unknown location, the Badghis provincial government confirmed, Khaama Press reported Thursday (February 2).
In Nimroz Province, militants killed a road construction worker whom they had kidnapped, provincial Public Works Director Eng. Abdul Aziz Muhammadi told Pajhwok Afghan News Wednesday (February 1).
A day earlier, the Taliban killed the driver of a truck carrying asphalt materials for the Zaranj-Dilaram road and kidnapped two road construction workers riding the truck. The victim was one of the two men.
