FAIZABAD -- A remote controlled explosion in Baharak district of Badakhshan province killed at least two Afghan soldiers and one civilian Thursday (April 20), Pajhwok Afghan News reported.
The bomb was planted near a security check point and was detonated while security personnel were on duty, said Mir Abdul Wahid, a senior provincial military official.
No one has claimed responsibility, he said.
