LASHKARGAH -- A suicide car bombing targeting a convoy of Afghan security forces in Helmand Province has killed at least two people, reported Khaama Press Tuesday (December 19).
The suicide bomber detonated a car packed with explosives Monday (December 18) in a crowded area near the 3rd police district of Lashkargah, said a statement from the provincial government media office.
One civilian and one security officer were killed, said the statement.
The Taliban claimed responsibility.
