24 Taliban killed in Logar, Kandahar

KABUL -- Twenty-four Taliban militants died from various causes in Logar and Kandahar provinces, officials said Sunday (May 14).

Four militants planting a roadside bomb were killed when it exploded prematurely in Mohammad Agha District, Logar Province, said the Ministry of Interior in a statement, according to Khaama Press.

Another roadside bomb in Maiwand District, Kandahar Province, killed 10 Taliban, said the MoD.

Security forces killed 10 militants in Nish District, Kandahar Province, added the MoD.
