BAGHLAN -- Twenty women in Baghlan province have begun operating an all-women restaurant, TOLO News reported Wednesday (August 30).
"Many families will not allow women to visit restaurants run by men," Gulalai Wahab, a chef at the restaurant, told TOLO News. "All the workers are women in this restaurant."
Women who work at the restaurant can help support their families, said Shaima, a waitress there.
