KABUL -- Roadside bombs killed three police officers in Nimroz Province and two Taliban militants in Kapisa Province, reported media.
The Nimroz Province explosion occurred in Kashrod District Thursday (September 14), said a security official, according to Pajhwok Afghan News.
The police officers' vehicle hit a land mine.
On the same day in Tagab District, Kapisa Province, two Taliban members were planting a roadside bomb that went off accidentally, said the Afghan National Army, according to Khaama Press.
