KABUL -- Between January 1 and October 1, the Afghan war drove 266,087 Afghans from their homes, the UN Office for the Co-ordination of Humanitarian Affairs said in a Monday (October 2) report.
The report said during the last week of the time range, more than 47,000 displaced people, undocumented returnees and refugees received some form of humanitarian assistance in all regions of the country.
