KABUL -- Another peace convoy began a journey on foot Monday (June 25) to Kabul, demanding the Taliban seek peace, TOLOnews reported Tuesday (June 26).

The goal of this group, which started in Kunar Province, is to support the Helmand People's Peace Movement, whose participants are in the midst of a three-day sit-in outside a United Nations office in Kabul.

After walking for 38 days, the Helmand peace convoy arrived in Kabul June 18.

The Taliban denounced the Helmand convoy as a US conspiracy.
