LOGAR -- A Taliban car bomb Monday (July 2) killed a woman and a child in Logar Province, TOLOnews reported.
The incident took place around 6.30pm local time in the provincial capital, Pul-e-Alam, said officials.
The blast wounded three women.
The bomb was meant for a convoy of foreign troops, the officials said.
Coalition forces in a statement confirmed the attack but said it caused no troop casualties and only minor damage to one convoy vehicle.
