JALALABAD -- National Directorate of Security (NDS) forces discovered 10 roadside bombs in a Taliban hideout in Surkh Rod District, Nangarhar Province, the provincial government press office said in a statement Tuesday (September 26).
Security forces stormed the militants' hideout in the Marghundi area, said the statement without providing further details on the raid's timing.
The militants planned to conduct attacks in Jalalabad, the statement added, saying that troops are searching for the culprits.
The Taliban did not immediately comment.
