KANDAHAR -- National Directorate of Security (NDS) forces arrested several members of three networks believed to be responsible for carrying out terrorist attacks in Kandahar Province, Khaama Press reported Tuesday (January 22).
All 30 members of these networks were arrested during the past week, the press office of Kandahar provincial governor said in a statement.
The militants detained were involved in major terrorist activities, including explosions, suicide bombings, and armed attacks, it added.
Officials did not say whether the detainees were Taliban militants.
