HERAT -- An air strike killed the Taliban's shadow governor for Bala Buluk District in Farah Province, the 207th Zafar Corps of the Afghan National Army said in a statement Tuesday (June 18).
The suspect, identified as Mullah Hesamuddin, was killed along with three subordinates in the Arif Abaad area, the army said, without providing details on the timing of the operation.
The Taliban did not immediately comment.
