NANGARHAR -- National Directorate of Security (NDS) special forces arrested at least six members of "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) in Nangarhar Province, the provincial press office said in a statement Thursday (June 27).
The arrests took place in the Kandi Bagh area of Chaparhar District, the press office said without providing details on the timing of the operation.
Two AK-47 rifles, two pistols, eight magazines and a vehicle belonging to the militants were destroyed, it added.
