LAGHMAN -- Police in Laghman Province killed at least two Taliban fighters and wounded four others after the militants attacked a security checkpoint, the Interior Ministry said in a statement Wednesday (July 17).
The incident took place Tuesday (July 16) in Alishang District, said the statement.
No police were harmed, it added.
