URUZGAN -- Afghan National Defence and Security Forces (ANDSF), led by Afghan commandos, killed at least 20 Taliban militants in an operation in Uruzgan Province, the 205th Atal Corps of the Afghan National Army said in a statement on Thursday (August 22).
The operation, conducted in Charchino District, destroyed two weapon depots belonging to the militants, the army said without giving details on when it took place.
The Taliban did not immediately comment.
