KABUL -- Afghan National Defence and Security Forces (ANDS) killed seven Taliban militants and wounded at least 11 others in two separate clashes in Faryab Province, the Interior Ministry said in a statement Monday (August 26).
The clashes took place in Qaisar and Garziwan districts Monday night, said the statements. Two local Taliban leaders were among those killed.
Two members of the Afghan forces were slightly injured, it added.
