KUNDUZ -- An explosion at a gathering of Taliban leaders in Kunduz Province killed 10 insurgents, including some key leaders, Khaama Press reported Wednesday (September 13), citing Afghan military officials.
The explosion occurred in a village in Khanabad District, where militants are active, said officials from the Afghan National Army.
The Taliban have not yet commented on the incident. The nature of the blast was not reported.
