FIROZ KOH, Afghanistan -- A group of "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) militants November 4 in Firoz Koh, Ghor Province, kidnapped six civilians, authorities confirmed, according to TOLO News.
Militants took the hostages to an unknown location, Ghor governor's spokesman Abdulhai Khatibi said.
The abduction occurred when President Ashraf Ghani was visiting Ghor to console the families of more than 30 civilians whom ISIL kidnapped and killed October 25.
