KABUL – Militants in Afghanistan recently released a video of an abducted couple begging for an end to their "nightmare" captivity, the BBC reported Tuesday (December 20).
Joshua Boyle of Canada and Caitlan Coleman of the United States appear in the video with two children apparently born during their captivity.
The video appeared on YouTube Monday (December 19).
The Taliban-aligned Haqqani Network kidnapped the couple in 2012 during their camping trip to Afghanistan.
The militants are demanding the release of three imprisoned comrades in Afghanistan.
