SAR-I-PUL, Afghanistan -- Militants on Sunday (December 25) beheaded a woman in Sar-i-Pul Province, officials said according to Khaama Press.
The militants killed the woman in a remote village, which is under the control of the Taliban, after she argued with them, said Nasima Arzoo, the provincial director of women's affairs.
The Taliban denied the accusation.
The incident comes as Taliban militants executed at least two people including a woman in northern Jawzjan province late last month, according to Khaama Press.
