KANDAHAR -- Two incidents killed seven militants, four security personnel and two children in Kandahar Province, media reported.
The militants, two police officers and two soldiers were killed in combat after the Taliban attacked a military convoy on the Kabul-Kandahar highway Tuesday (July 11), said Afghan National Army officer Gada Mohammad Wednesday (July 12), according to TOLO News.
Two children, aged 10 and 13, were killed by a roadside bomb in Maiwand District Tuesday, said provincial police, according to Pajhwok Afghan News.
